Established for the express purpose of promoting and improving the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of Tettenhall Regis and Tettenhall Wightwick (together “The Tettenhall Wards”) in the City Of Wolverhampton; constituting the defined Neighbourhood Area of “Tettenhall District”.
Formed under the Localism Act.

The Tettenhall Community Forum (TCF) is a non-political membership forum, for all residents in the 12 neighbourhood areas covered by the trust. It is open for any resident, or business leader in the district, to actively contribute to consultations, campaigns and to actively voice your opinion on issues, working on solutions with district trustees. Residents may join at any time in addition to trust membership.

Tettenhall District Community Council was a Neighbourhood Planning body, chaired by Cyril Randles. It delivered the Neighbourhood Plan (2014-2026) for Tettenhall, Our Place Our Plan, adopted by Wolverhampton City Council in 2014. From 2024, the re-registered body will be styled as a Trust.

Comprising the 12 neighbourhood areas of: Castlecroft, Claregate & Aldersley, Compton, Finchfield, Regis, Smestow, Stockwell End, Tettenhall Village, Wightwick, Tettenhall Wood, Wergs & Danescourt, Wrottesley

“The Company’s activities will be focussed on providing benefit to the c23,000 inhabitants of the wards of Tettenhall Regis and Tettenhall Wightwick (together “The Tettenhall Wards”) in the City Of Wolverhampton”.

Tettenhall District Community Interest Company is created for the express purpose of promoting and improving the economic, social, and environmental wellbeing of the Tettenhall District, consisting of the wards of Tettenhall Regis and Wightwick. The CIC works to support the 12 neighbourhoods of Aldersley & Claregate, Tettenhall Village, Tettenhall Wood, Stockwell End, Danescourt & Wergs, Wrottesley, Regis, Smestow, Wightwick, Compton, Finchfield, and Castlecroft.

Our campaign began about traffic issues around The Rock Junction, culminating in the publishing of The Rock Action Plan by the TDCT steering group in 2024. Tettenhall District Preferred Options
The Tettenhall District Preferred Options response is issued by the Tettenhall Community Forum, a residents' consultation and campaign body, registered with Wolverhampton City Council.
The preferred options document provides further information than requested in the summary and main document suggested responses, due to the nature of Tettenhall District being covered by the Neighbourhood Plan 2014, which contains policies for that district, and the scope of our own preferred options for future planning, which must be considered by both Wolverhampton Local Plan and Tettenhall District.

Assault on Codsall Road 5G airwaves & Tettenhall's character - please object by 6th August to Bristol Planning Inspectorate
Raise your objections to 'Cornerstone' attempting to override Wolverhampton City Council(WCC) - strongarming South Staffs Golf Club and Tettenhall residents' views who have called for rejection of plans for a 5G mast on Codsall Road, Tettenhall.
Representations on your objections are required by 6th August, details are below.
Cornerstone is the 02/Vodafone joint venture to share telecoms infrastructure. In response to WCC rejecting their planning application for a monstrous 5G transmission mast, they have now appealed to Bristol Planning Inspectorate to enforce a 3rd party companies wishes over those of residents, local councillors, WCC and the land owner - South Staffs Gold Club.

On 3rd Feb, 2024 The TDCC Steering Group issued an action plan for The Rock Junction, this has been supported by a campaign from Tettenhall Community Forum, including our petition, now with over 1000 signatures.
Traffic Flow Petition for 3 way phase lights (C1);
Proposals for improved pedestrian safety (C2);
Action on speeding and traffic enforcement (C3);
West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioners office have agreed to a meeting with TDCC steering group.
Campaign Actions C4,C5, C6
Currently working with Wolverhampton City Council on consultation and 6 week review process.

The Steering Group will be meeting with Heritage Architects on 27/Feb to begin a community heritage consultation.
The TDCT steering group will analyse proposals from Tettenhall Tower/Heritage Architects, about Tettenhall Towers becoming a community asset, and consider the economic, political and social constraints now prevalent for Tettenhall College, alongside what residents needs and concerns may be. Reports to be produced for consultation via Tettenhall Community Forum and inclusion in Neighbourhood Plan.
